About Me
I am a third year Mechanical Engineering PhD candidate at Duke University, where I work in the Bridgeman Lab. Currently, my research involves using robust control theory to enforce safety for data driven control techniques such as imitation learning and using data driven methods to determine robust characterizations such as invariance and dissipativity for unknown nonlinear dynamical systems. I am interested in ensuring the safety and stability of learned controllers so that they can be used on safety critical systems.
Previously, I received my masters in Mechanical Engineering at Auburn University, where worked in the GPS and Vehcile Dynamics Lab (GAVLAB). My research used machine learning to aid in the modelling, classification, and estimation of uncertain systems.
